Meet The Owner

Hi, I'm Kyle Dahlin. I have always had a love for animals. I was that young kid running around the neighborhood asking people if I could help take care of their pets while they were at work or out of town. My neighbors would pay me (in candy) to feed their pets, walk their dogs, play with them in the yard, and scoop their poop. 

Let me tell you a story: It was a beautiful spring day and I was walking the dog around the neighborhood. My dog was done doing her business, so I walked up to a pet waste station to grab a bag so I could clean up her poop. I should have known better. Like always, there were no poop bags, the trash bin was filled to the brim, and the station looked and smelt disgusting. I also noticed dog poop on the sidewalks and in yards.  I thought... there has to be a company that takes care of these things. That was the moment I decided to start PurePaws LLC in Wilmington, North Carolina. My goal was to combine three things I am extremely passionate about: Working with dogs, building relationships with people, and keeping the environment clean. PurePaws stands firmly behind all of those.

I believe small businesses have a powerful effect on the community around them and should profoundly make a greater impact than just selling goods and services. That is why we are far than a pet waste business.  We stay true to our values and will never deviate from them.
